Project Manager, Logistic Process Improvement Add expected salary to your profile for insights Our client, a leading retail company with manufacturing sites in China and Southeast Asia, is seeking an experienced and independent Logistic Process-Improvement Manager. This role will drive logistics improvement projects initiated by HQ and proactively identify new opportunities to enhance the movement of goods from production sites to markets across APAC. Candidates from both retail companies and logistics service providers are welcome. Key Responsibilities Lead and implement logistics process improvement projects initiated by HQ, ensuring alignment with company strategy and objectives. Proactively identify new areas for improvement in the movement of goods from manufacturing sites in China & SEA to APAC markets, driving operational excellence across the supply chain. Design and execute process optimization initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality. Engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, procurement, warehouse, transportation, customer service) and external partners to ensure seamless goods movement. Drive corporate-level conversations and influence stakeholders to achieve buy‑in and successful project implementation. Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics efficiency, cost savings, and project impact. Champion digital transformation by recommending and implementing technology solutions for logistics optimization. Conduct training and workshops to promote best practices and a culture of continuous improvement within logistics operations. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain competitive logistics processes in APAC. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or process improvement roles, with regional exposure in APAC . Proven track record in leading and implementing process improvement projects, especially those focused on the movement of goods. Experience in managing logistics operations from production/manufacturing sites to markets; exposure to retail is a plus. Candidates from both client-side (retail, manufacturing) and logistics companies are welcome. Highly independent, self‑motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills; able to drive corporate-level conversations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities. Experience with logistics management systems and process mapping tools. Fluent in English (additional Asian languages are a plus). Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is an advantage.
