About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned research professional to lead our research on BTC and ETH. The role involves developing a rigorous, data‑driven research framework that integrates fundamental, on‑chain, and macroeconomic analysis to support investment decisions. You will work closely with the CIO, portfolio managers and risk teams to generate actionable insights, guide portfolio construction and enhance alpha generation across our digital asset strategies. Key Responsibilities: Design overall research framework for BTC and ETH, integrating fundamental, on‑chain/off‑chain, and other technical perspectives. Build research models that capture valuation, liquidity, volume, tail‑risk, fear & greed index, network fundamentals and risk‑return dynamics. Produce high‑quality internal research reports and investment notes periodically (e.g., weekly, monthly and quarterly) for the CIO and portfolio managers, and present clear, actionable research results to them. Lead coverage on key market drivers – monetary policy, regulatory developments, network upgrades (e.g., Ethereum protocol evolutions, Bitcoin halving cycles) and institutional adoption trends. Provide scenario analyses, stress tests and model forecasts for portfolio allocation decisions. Maintain a forward‑looking view of global macro factors, regulatory changes and technology shifts shaping the market landscape. Qualifications: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience within the financial industry, ideally 3 of those in the crypto industry. Deep understanding of BTC and ETH network fundamentals, tokenomics, ecosystem development, macroeconomics and regulatory policies. Familiarity with on‑chain analytics tools (Glassnode, Nansen, Dune, etc.), off‑chain products (e.g., CEX, IBIT, Futures, Derivatives) and data infrastructures. Strong quantitative acumen, including statistical and econometric modeling. Comfort working with blockchain data APIs and visualization tools. Strategic thinker with the ability to convert complex data into concise investment theses. Collaborative mindset across investment, research and risk functions. Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to simplify complex derivative concepts. Fluent in English and Mandarin – both are essential.
