About the job Head of Custody - Virtual Asset Company Our client is a leading virtual asset trading platform. They are part of a leading Asian crypto exchange group. They are seeking a Head of Custody to oversee their digital asset custody services. The candidatebe responsible for establishing and managing a robust custodyframework to safeguard their customers' digital assets. Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive digital asset custody strategy. Establish custody policies, procedures, and controls in line with regulatoryrequirements. Oversee the safekeeping, storage, and movement of digital assets. Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate custody services with tradingoperations. Manage relationships with third-party custodians and service providers. Conduct regular audits and reviews of custody processes and systems. Stay up to date with evolving blockchain technologies and security advancements. Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on custody-related matters. Prepare and present custody reports to senior management and regulatoryauthorities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. A master'sdegree is preferred. Minimum 7 years of experience in finance and/or fintech industry, with 2 years in digital asset custody or a related field. Strong knowledge of custody practices, processes, and security protocols. Familiarity with blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks related tocustody services. Excellent leadership and managerial skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
