Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Director to lead and grow our education centre. The successful candidate will drive academic and operational excellence, manage staff and programmes, and lead the expansion of the centre. You will serve as the key point of contact between leadership, staff, students and parents, ensuring high-quality delivery, student satisfaction, and long-term growth. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy Lead the development and execution of the centre’s strategic vision and expansion plan. Set short- and long-term goals (enrolment, curriculum, quality, revenue) and oversee progress. Report regularly to the owner/board on performance, challenges, and opportunities. Academic & Programme Management Oversee curriculum design and delivery, ensuring quality and relevance. Supervise and support teaching staff – hiring, training, mentoring, evaluation. Ensure compliance with local education regulations and safeguarding standards. Operations & Administration Manage daily operations of the centre (timetables, staffing, maintenance, health & safety, administrative systems). Handle student admissions, enrolment, orientation, parent communications, and feedback processes. Staff & Community Management Build, lead, and motivate the team – educators, support staff, administrative staff. Foster a positive, safe, inclusive school environment and culture. Liaise with stakeholders – parents, local authorities, recruitment agencies, partners – to support growth and reputation. Growth & Expansion Lead expansion initiatives (new programmes, additional classes, marketing/campaigns for growth). Develop recruitment strategies to attract more students. Ensure scalability of operations and maintain consistent quality standards during growth. Requirements Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Education, Business, Management or related field). Proven experience in running / managing an education centre, school department or similar – ideally 5+ years. Strong leadership, organisational and people-management skills. Excellent communication skills – with staff, parents, students, and external partners. Ability to work under pressure, make decisions, and adapt quickly. Understanding of curriculum development, student welfare, and safeguarding compliance. Business acumen – able to manage budgets, resources, and operational challenges. Experience in growing/ scaling educational centres or programmes. Fluency in English and Cantonese. Marketing, sales or admissions experience an advantage. Strong network within the education sector in Hong Kong / Asia is beneficial. Benefits Competitive salary (negotiable).
