Company Overview

Nan Fung Trinity (HK) Limited ("NF Trinity") is the financial investment arm of Nan Fung Group ("Group"), focusing on multiple asset classes including public securities, structured products, private direct investments and private fund of funds. NF Trinity manages assets for the Group and third party institutional and professional investors. It is licensed by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission to carry out Type 1 (Dealing in Securities), Type 4 (Advising on Securities) and Type 9 (Asset Management) regulated activities.

Global Healthcare Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in the public market, with a focus on developed markets (mainly US) healthcare sectors across all the sub-sectors.
  • Conduct independent and in-depth fundamental research using internal and external resources, including expert networks, data resources, and sell-side research.
  • Stay abreast of important macro and government policy developments for investment implications on various sub-sectors within healthcare.
  • Prepare comprehensive investment memos and presentation materials for internal portfolio discussions.
  • Establish and maintain connections with companies, brokers, and industry experts within your coverage areas.
  • Attend company meetings, industry conferences, and broker conferences to stay on top of the latest industry trends and investor positioning.
  • Provide regular updates to the CIO and team via various types of communication channels.
  • Candidates with diversified interests have the flexibility to cover more than just the healthcare sector. Attendance of conferences and meetings of other sectors in the US beyond direct coverage may be needed from time to time.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in leading investment institutions, with at least 3 years covering healthcare sectors in the public market.
  • Preferably, at least 3 years of buyside experience, with exposure and existing network to US healthcare and biotechnology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets and the ability to leverage buyside, industry, corporate, and sell-side resources.
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management skills to prioritize tasks for the most impactful actions on our portfolio.
  • PhD, CFA or MBA preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial modelling skills, with a preference for candidates who can adapt AI/GPT/Copilot to improve efficiency.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with a high level of teamwork and integrity.
  • Fluency in spoken Mandarin Chinese is advantageous, but not mandatory.
  • Based in New York but may need to work in the HK office in the first few months, and with the expectation to join internal morning calls with the team in Hong Kong on an ongoing basis.
