Senior Officer (Legal & Risk Management)/ 1 year Contract Add expected salary to your profile for insights Assist the Department Head in meeting departmental targets by supporting legal compliance and risk management initiatives Supervise the daily operation of the department Assist in reviewing, drafting contracts and legal documents Assist in monitoring Company’s compliance with internal policies and applicable laws, regulations and guidelines as well as corporate governance Assist in reviewing and updating policies, procedures, guidelines and scoring model, etc. Provide advice to management and other departments for legal, compliance and risk management issues Liaise with external lawyers, professionals and regulatory bodies Assist in overseeing compliance with Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and Companies Registry’s AML Guideline Assist in conducting legal compliance in-house training Prepare timely and accurate data analysis and necessary reports to Department Head / Management / Head Office Manage and provide guidance to junior level staff Any other ad-hoc tasks delegated by Division / Department Head What You Will Need Bachelor’s degree in Legal / Risk Management / Accounting / Finance or related discipline At least 2 years’ experience in compliance, banking or finance field is preferable Strong communication, presentation and inter-personal skills Fast learner with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills Mature with critical and analytical mind Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese is a must, command of Putonghua is preferable Japanese speaking is an advantage Proficient computer skill in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Why You Should Consider This Opportunity Competitive package Friendly working culture Renewal contract; subject to performance Candidates could not report duty for 5 days per week, may be considered as Part-time application Interested parties please send your resume with date of availability and expected salary by clicking “APPLY Personal data collected will be used for recruitment purpose only.
