…be managing and handling claims for property and casualty products. You will work and build the claims value proposition for the company. You will also contribute to streamlining the workflow and optimizing the handling process to strive operation excellence.

You will be responsible for…

  • Handling Property and Liability claims with focus on liability, investigation and global settlement.
  • Acquiring and efficiently organizing the relevant evidence and information to accurately assess the value of the litigated claim and to recognize potential fraud/recovery indicators.
  • Conducting in-house global settlement.
  • Building up relationships with all stakeholders and concluding the case at the earliest to avoid litigation development.
  • Developing strategy to ensure appropriate reserves are assigned, investigations conducted and appropriate specialists engaged.
  • Developing vendor relationship and management strategy.
  • Providing technical support to the team including workflow simplification and automation initiatives.

You will require the following qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in handling Property and Liability claims.
  • Preferably tertiary education in one of these subjects including Insurance, Business Administration, Law and/or healthcare.
  • Preferably achieved recognized industry standard certificate (e.g. Snr Asso. of ANZIIF).
  • Proactive, problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Self-motivated and ability to learn and work in a dynamic environment.
