Assessment Leader, TLR2 – Jockey Club Sarah Roe School Jockey Club Sarah Roe School is part of the English Schools Foundation (ESF) and is the only special school in Hong Kong offering an English‑language curriculum. We cater to students aged 5 to 19 with a wide range of learning needs and disabilities, and provide a diverse and inclusive learning community. Overview This position is for a self‑motivated, strategic, and data‑driven leader who will drive the school‑wide approach to assessment and data. The Assessment Leader (TLR2) will lead systems that evaluate the impact of teaching, personalise learning pathways, and use evidence to inform the School Enhancement Plan. Responsibilities The successful candidate will: Lead the assessment and data strategy across the school. Ensure that assessment data is effectively used to inform teaching practice and improve student outcomes. Translate data into actionable insights and support the implementation of evidence‑based improvements. Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to personalise learning pathways. Champion the use of educational technology, including LMS and AI, in assessment. Qualifications & Experience Hold a Bachelor Degree in Education, or a Bachelor Degree in any subject with PGCE, or equivalent. Have a proven minimum of 5 years teaching experience within a recognised educational organisation. Have prior experience of holding a responsibility within a team, ideally related to assessment, data analysis, or a related function. Have a proven track record of using assessment data to inform teaching practice and improve student outcomes. Possess strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Have knowledge and expertise in educational technology, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and the potential of AI in assessment. Be a reflective and strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and lead change. Be a positive, collaborative, and enthusiastic member of the staff team. Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills are vital. Contract Details Full‑time, two‑year contract, renewable by mutual consent, starting August 2026.
