Our two brands, Shark, and Ninja, have enjoyed unprecedented growth in the past 5 years, driven mainly by the very strong innovation pipeline on both brands. Given this success in our existing markets, Shark Ninja has embarked on a bold plan for growing APAC business, in which Hong Kong, China plays a critical role. We have taken over this market from our distributors, so that we can run them directly and drive strong growth, behind innovation and investments. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Product and Marketing Manager to join our team. This role will be based in Hong Kong, China. Here are some of the exciting things you will get to do: Responsibilities Consumer centric: Be involved and embedded in consumer insights and research studies to inform market opportunity with customers and consumers' trend and identify growth opportunities. Able to translate consumer insights / needs into product selections, consumer communications. Lead the development of portfolio and product strategy, channel choices and pricing for Hongkong. Own product assortment in Hongkong, including configurations, color, features & benefits. Work closely with TWHK BU leaders, Product Development and Program Coordinators at US Boston headquarter to ensure new products are on cost, on time, and with the right features & benefits for the Hongkong consumer and market. Implement local product strategies in line with global product strategies to strengthen market position. Develop all on-box and in-box collateral within global guidance. Be the product expert and provide product guidance to Distributor team on product claims, demonstration development, and after service. Demand Generation Develop brand growth strategy and achieve growth target. Develop marketing strategy for both Shark and Ninja brands in the Hongkong market and then execute it, including media planning, public relations, and digital/social. Strengthen internal and external team synergy. Effective management of external partners such as agency partner, PR, Social, Creative, Media etc to ensure smooth execution of campaigns. Define local creative asset needs and then work with global and regional teams or local agencies to develop them on time. Work closely with Hongkong distributor to ensure marketing and sales strategies are aligned, Provide guideline on sales enabling tools including fixtures, POSM, demo. Budget management ATL budget management to ensure spending in line with business results. Handling PR/PO for Hong Kong and compliant to finance process and guidelines. Required Attributes & Skills Minimally eight (8) years of Marketing experience, especially in product assortment and communication. Experience in FMCG, Consumer Electronics is preferred. BA degree or equivalent Skill set to implement new products with focus on the user experience and technical aspects. Powerful project management / leadership skills which will enable cross-functional collaboration to develop and deliver robust plans. Analytics and financials skills. Multi-function capacity and flexibility to deal with ambiguous situations. Communication skills with excellent Cantonese & Mandarin (translations and proof read will be required frequently), high level speaking / reading / writing capabilities in English. There will be active communication with Boston head office or regional team which will require strong English skills. Periodical travel, possibility to visit Boston head office or Singapore regional office depending on needs.
