Job Overview The Product Sales Specialist is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within their field and contributes to the directional strategy by considering their application in their job and the business. Recognized as a technical authority within an area of the business, they bring basic commercial awareness and are expected to guide, influence, and convince colleagues and occasional external customers. Their work has significant impact on the area, affecting the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub‑function. Responsibilities Responsible, in close coordination with the Product Management team, for the development and strategic growth of both the Asia cluster and the lead execution of multiple country solutions Work on client origination, deal execution and sales strategy Establish and monitor development of the sales strategy to improve origination, bringing new clients to the portfolio and ensuring that opportunities are executed with the right solution for each client Guarantee that sales best practices and success cases are implemented across countries Closely manage client portfolio and address risk mitigation needs when necessary Implement and lead execution of sales campaigns by country/product to improve market share and client penetration Lead and drive the origination process Identify new revenue opportunities, originate deals, grow base revenues, and minimize attrition Work with product partners to ensure the product offering is competitive in service, function, and price Execute and monitor development of existing wallet assessment to identify opportunities Track portfolio revenues, drivers and monitor against planned targets Collaborate with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance, supervision, expense discipline, and ethics Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets Adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, applying sound ethical judgment and reporting control issues with transparency Qualifications 6‑10 years of experience Extensive client‑facing activity experience Previous sales or business management experience required Combination of commercial and analytical skills Disciplined, strategic thinking with eye for innovation and new technology tools Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Education Bachelor’s/University degree; Master’s degree preferred Job Details Job Family Group: Institutional SalesJob Family: Institutional Product SalesTime Type: Full time Equal Employment Opportunity Citi is an equal opportunity employer, and qualified candidates will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, status as a protected veteran, or any other characteristic protected by law.
