Global Banking & Markets, GSET Coverage Sales Trader, AS, Hong Kong – Goldman Sachs. Job Description Goldman Sachs Electronic Trading (GSET) enables clients to execute trades directly through the Goldman Sachs (GS) trading infrastructure. As a GSET Coverage Sales Trader, you will sell, manage, and develop GSET electronic trading capabilities, including Direct Market Access (DMA) and algorithmic trading strategies. Roles Within GSET Coverage Sales – Pitch the full suite of electronically tradable products (Equities, Futures, Options, Synthetics), discuss DMA and algorithmic execution channels, and work with traditional desks to target new and existing customers. Coverage – Provide client support and trading services, act as execution consultants for algorithmic strategies, and manage relationships with institutional clients. Job Summary & Responsibilities Account coverage for global and domestic institutions; develop client relationships. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and enhance products. Act as execution consultants to deliver real‑time and strategic trading solutions. Provide clients with trading and liquidity advice. Contribute to sales campaigns and cross‑selling efforts across desks. Basic Qualifications Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of equity products. Goal‑oriented and driven for success. Familiarity with Execution Management Systems, Order Routing, algorithmic trading, and transaction‑cost performance management. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong mathematical aptitude. Proven experience collaborating and improving productivity. Interest in expanding knowledge to derivatives and fixed‑income products. Preferred Qualifications Financial knowledge. Statistical analysis and problem‑solving skills. Knowledge of Asia, Europe, or US equity market microstructure. Managerial or project‑management experience. Fluency in an Asian language.
