Our long-term client, one of Asia-Pacific’s leading low-cost airline groups, is seeking an Airline Financial Controller to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Asia Pacific. As the Airline Financial Controller , you will oversee the financial operations of the airline, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with the group’s ambitious growth objectives. This pivotal leadership role requires a results-oriented professional to drive financial efficiency and support the airline’s rapid expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage financial statements and reports in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee accounting operations, including budgeting, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models and forecasts to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align financial strategies with overall business goals.
  • Lead financial audits and ensure the integrity of all financial data.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in financial management, preferably within the aviation or low-cost airline sector.
  • Strong expertise in financial reporting, accounting, and compliance.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to excellence in financial management.
