We are seeking a Cable Car Operations Duty‑in‑Charge to oversee safe operation and maintenance of our cable car system. The incumbent will ensure that the system runs smoothly, manages resources, and maintains compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Plan resources and budget allocation for cable car operations. Devise a maintenance plan to ensure maintenance work is carried out in priority order and within allocated budget. Manage and supervise cable car maintenance staff, providing them with the necessary skills, training, and tools to handle urgent system issues and to operate all emergency backup systems. Oversee the cable car workshop to ensure day‑to‑day routines and activities are carried out smoothly and legitimately. Manage the spare parts store to guarantee sufficient parts are available for equipment repair and maintenance. Coordinate with other departments and outside contractors for cable car related projects to ensure work is completed on‑time and within budget without affecting normal operations. Act as duty‑in‑charge of cable car vertical rescue drill, implementing proper execution and preparing reports on electrical inspections set out by EMSD. Requirements Degree in Engineering or higher diploma with substantial experience. At least 10 years of relevant work experience, including 5 years at a supervisory level. Competent person of Cable Car. Holder of a certificate of registration of Electrical Worker (Grad B0 or above). Conversant with good engineering practice and maintenance of cable car systems. Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of PLC with fibre control network is an advantage.
