Trade Operation & Compliance Specialist (Pharmaceutical, 5 days) Our client, a US multinational conglomerate operating in the fields of industry, work safety, healthcare, and consumer goods, who is looking for a Trade Operation & Compliance Specialist. Job Duties: Customs Coordination; Clearance and License Management Facilitate smooth customs clearance, working with cross-team (e.g., planner, DC, TM, oversea suppliers) to resolve any shipment discrepancies. Monitoring incoming shipments and address customs clearance delay where needed. Manage customs clearance processes for import and export of medical products (including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, etc.) in Hong Kong. Prepare, verify, and maintain accurate import/export documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.). Apply for and manage trade-related certificates (e.g., import/export permits, drug licenses). Ensure all documentation complies with customs regulations and company policies. Maintain good relationship with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure the clearance lead time and accuracy is meeting Client's expectations. Data Analysis & Process Improvement Sharing import statistics and customs performance with management. Analyze trade data (e.g., shipment costs, clearance times, duty savings) to identify inefficiencies and opportunities. Recommend process improvements to enhance compliance and operational efficiency. Trade compliance Lead the coordination with global team on Export Control restrictions. Perform daily task related to Sanction Party List Screening and license control check in SAP GTS system. Support on SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) project. Prepare testing data, transit data cleaning, user for testing. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of hands‑on experience in customs coordination, import/export operations, or trade compliance. Familiar with Hongkong Customs requirements and regulations. Working knowledge of customs procedures (e.g., Incoterms, tariff classification, valuation rules). High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel for data analysis) and ERP systems. Analytical mindset with problem‑solving capabilities. Be fluent in Mandarin and able to write in Chinese. Certification in customs/trade compliance (e.g., Certified Customs Specialist, CDCS) is a plus. Knowledge of SAP systems – TM and GTS module a plus. Details: Mon - Fri, 9am – 6pm, Kowloon Bay.
