You will be responsible for the safe and efficient command of our modern ferry fleet, operating high‑volume commuter and tourism routes. Maintaining strict adherence to all maritime regulations and company safety standards. Managing the vessel crew and ensuring excellent customer service delivery. Working a predictable roster with 28 days of visibility. Demonstrated experience navigating busy harbors and demanding schedules. Exceptional safety record and strong leadership skills. Ability to successfully clear a New Zealand maritime licence conversion process. Roster Stability: 28 days notice for rosters; any last‑minute change is paid as overtime. Annual Leave: 5 weeks paid annual leave per year. Retirement: Retirement age is 65, with flexibility to continue if medically fit.
