Responsibilities To prepare quotation documents and manage contracts in relation to Smart Recycling Devices (including, but not limited to smart recycling bins, smart balances), and monitor the performance of the contractors to ensure the compliance of contractual obligations and government regulations; To prepare and update papers, information notes, guidelines, presentation decks and other necessary materials in relation to the Smart Recycling Devices; To provide professional input in responding to public enquiries and complaints concerning Smart Recycling and/or waste management; To perform any other duties assigned as appropriate. To consolidate recycling data and conduct analysis for strategic planning, programme management and development of Smart Recycling Devices. To develop and enhance Smart Recycling Devices operation and data analysis through AI-driven analytics and hardware advancement. To conduct strategic planning, and programme development in application points and functionalities of Smart Recycling Devices. To perform a supervisory role in site inspections of the Smart Recycling Devices, and the related operation for compliance check. To perform any other relevant duties as assigned. Employment Terms 5 days work, Mondays to Fridays, 45 hours per week, off on Sat, Sun and PH Working location : Kowloon Bay 9 months work contract with good possibility of renewal Candidate’s Requirements Have a Hong Kong bachelor's degree or above in a science, engineering, or environmental management and technology subject, or equivalent; Have at least five (5) years' full-time post-graduate working experience in smart recycling systems, waste reduction/recovery/recycling or related environmental domains; Have at least two (2) years' full-time experience in supervisory level in managing the project(s) including liaison with venue management on application of smart recycling devices (including smart recycling bins and smart balances) in the venue, preparation and management of contracts on smart recycling devices. The smart recycling devices involved shall be designed for recycling-related project, and shall adopt the Internet of Things (IoT) technology and able to collect and transmit data and information electronically and automatically. The smart recycling devices shall be able to directly upload the data and information to a central data management system in real time. The project(s) shall be related to the application of smart recycling devices in not less than 30 different locations and each project duration shall be no less than nine (9) months. Have met the language proficiency requirement of Level 3 (see Note) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; OR met the language proficiency requirements of 'Level 2' results in the two language papers (Use of Chinese and Use of English) in the CRE, or equivalent; Have good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; Have good data analysis, project coordination and presentation skills; Have good personality and inter-personal communication skills, self-motivation and ability to work independently; and Good computer knowledge including proficiency of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Input Method.
