Director, Financial Marketing Communications Specialist

Our Client is a Multi‑Strategy Asset Management company with investments in the UK, US, Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Vietnam is seeking an experienced Director, Financial Marketing Communications Specialist to join their team. Location : Hong Kong Job Type : Full‑Time Permanent Position Job Summary : The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial marketing and a strong network within the financial media industry. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies to promote financial products and services while leveraging media relationships to enhance brand visibility. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for financial products. Manage media relations and cultivate partnerships with key media outlets, such as Bloomberg, Reuters, SCMP, and Financial Times. Create compelling marketing content, including press releases, articles, and promotional materials. Collaborate with management to analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities. Work closely with investment teams to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and media engagements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Communications, or a related field. Proven experience in financial marketing or a similar role. Strong network of contacts within the financial media industry. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese). Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, software, and media channels, including YouTube, X, Facebook, and Xiaohongshu. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong creative thinking and problem‑solving skills. Min. 10 years of working experience in financial sector. Preferred Skills Experience in digital marketing and social media strategies.
