Job Overview Join Principal Financial Group for an exciting opportunity to provide outstanding shareholder services. This role leads daily operations and drives process improvements, ensuring flawless performance and high service levels. You will collaborate with internal and external partners, making a significant impact on operations and client happiness. What You’ll Do Oversee the Shareholder Services team and direct reports to management. Manage day‑to‑day activities (e.g., reporting, AML/KYC, client enquiries) and ensure the operation complies with best practices and company policies. Oversee vendor operations to ensure service delivery meets SLAs and monitor performance by assessing errors and key performance indicators. Build strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring service solutions are timely and thorough, and related functions are handled accurately, efficiently, and according to established guidelines and controls. Drive operational efficiency, establish and review operating procedures, and ensure control & compliance with operational risk management standards and regulation. Manage, mentor and motivate team members through coaching, performance reviews, and training to ensure high productivity and professional growth. Perform ad‑hoc projects as assigned. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields. At least 7 years of experience in fund management operations or transfer agency activities, with at least 1‑2 years in a supervisory role. Preferred: SFC Type 1 licensed holder; SFC RA 13 licensed candidate is a strong advantage. Proficient in English and Cantonese, both written and spoken. Skilled in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (Macros and VBA knowledge is a plus). Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster effective working relationships. Flexible and adaptable to evolving structures, processes, and requirements. Self‑motivated and able to work under pressure and prioritize effectively. Candidates with more experience will be considered for a Manager role.
