Job Description
Responsibilities- To provide professional consultancy services to our corporate customers by understanding and translating their user needs into technical requirements, particularly in the area of Microsoft 365 and Licensing.
- To assist in planning and proposing Microsoft solutions that involve single or multiple sub-system(s), e.g. Telecom Services, Cloud Solution, and security with the support from other domain specialists.
- To assist in preparing sales proposals or tender responses together with migration plans through assisting close liaison with business partners and internal stakeholders.
- To participate in account development plan of major accounts to assist in formulating the strategy and exploring new opportunities to enhance the customer stickiness and HKT positioning in digital transformation business.
- Responsible for the pre-sales of ICT solutions including Cloud Computing, CDN, Data Centre, Managed Security, VoIP, IP/SDH/Metro Ethernet/MPLS WAN.
- Propose telecommunication and ICT solutions to enterprise or carrier sales to cope with customer needs.
- Participate in the whole pre-sales cycle, including customer meetings, user requirement studies, design, presentation, demonstration, proposal, and the RFP/bidding phases.
- Work closely with Product Managers and ICT Managers to differentiate the company’s solutions and assist in product marketing of technical designs.
- Coordinate and provide solution-related training to the Sales Department throughout the globe.
- Manage the BSS and CRM system operations to ensure smooth data transactions throughout the pre-sales stage.
- Introduce group portfolio of managed security solutions to achieve a high share-of-wallet in the account.
- High energy pursuit of opportunities working in tandem with account managers.
- Understand customer’s businesses, and identify influencers and decision makers within a customer organization.
- Focus on identifying customer’s business challenges and developing strong value propositions to help customers meet their business objectives through ICT solution sales.
- Conduct high impact sales presentations and prepare sales proposals.
- Engage effectively with all levels across a customer’s organization to include all C-level executives, negotiate with customers and effectively close business deals.
- Ensure revenue and profit targets are met.
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction levels with every customer engagement.
- University degree in IT or related disciplines.
- At least 2 years’ experience in Microsoft products’ solution design or consultancy, preferably with implementation experience.
- Holder of professional accreditations, such as Microsoft 365, Azure, MCSE or equivalents are preferable.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, including different provisioning approaches, migration methods.
- Good knowledge of Exchange and email systems.
- Good knowledge of AD infrastructure and AAD integration.
- Knowledge of Power Apps, Intune & MIP etc.
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud and Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Knowledge of Microsoft licensing models like EA & CSP etc.
- Self-motivated, innovative, customer-focused, result-oriented with logical/analytical thinking.
- Strong business acumen with good presentation and communication skills.
- Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese.
- Degree or above in Telecommunications, Computer Studies, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
- At least 5 years of solution architect experience in global telecommunication networks.
- Possess professional CCNP or CCDP certificate is a must.
- Other professional certificates (i.e. CCIE, CISSP, PMP) will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Visio and MS Office is a MUST.
- Able to maintain good working relationships with both technical and non-technical users, including effective communication with a large user base of various levels of IT knowledge.
- Quick learner with superior analytical problem-solving and presentation skills.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin; language fluency is a prerequisite for this role.
- Minimally 3 years’ experience in selling end-to-end security solutions such as Firewall, IPS, IDS, VPN, authentication, content filtering, patch management, data loss prevention, SIEM, OS-hardening, web server security, vulnerability assessment, managed security testing, endpoint, and cloud security.
- Familiar with security solutions from Trustwave, Palo Alto, FireEye, Checkpoint, and Akamai etc.
- Sales experiences and familiarity with supporting enterprise information infrastructure (e.g. server, network, AD) will be an added advantage.
- A degree or higher in IT, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- High degree of self-motivation, strong commitment, and result-oriented.
- Dedicated & excellent team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- To be an independent and resourceful team player with a genuine enthusiasm for providing excellent support to internal and external customers.
