We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a large-scale retail operation in Hong Kong. This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for business performance, overseeing diverse functions and driving growth across multiple retail channels. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and direction for the business, with full P&L responsibility. Oversee retail operations across multiple high-traffic locations, supported by a sizeable frontline workforce and corporate office team. Lead and coordinate cross-functional areas including operations, finance, HR, compliance, supply chain, marketing, merchandising, and commercial activities. Drive business development initiatives, including entry into food & beverage, leveraging strong commercial acumen to identify and secure opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and government stakeholders to support growth and compliance. Monitor market dynamics, consumer trends, and transportation developments to adapt strategies and maintain competitiveness. Ensure alignment with regional leadership and contribute to broader North Asia business objectives. Candidate Profile Proven track record in retail leadership, with a deep understanding of local consumer behavior and buying patterns. Experience in food & beverage is an advantage but not essential; strong interest and capability to develop this sector is required. Background in multinational corporations, with exposure to matrix structures and cross-border collaboration. Hands‑on, approachable leadership style, able to connect with both frontline teams and senior stakeholders. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport externally and internally. Commercially astute, with the ability to identify new opportunities and drive business growth. High awareness of market trends, emerging brands, and regulatory developments that impact retail and consumer sectors.
