Senior Business Developer – Life Sciences Within the HK-Dtech team, the main objective of this mission is to participate in the commercial development of the company's products and services. As a Senior Business Developer, you will be instrumental in driving our sales strategy and expanding our presence in the life sciences market. Your deep understanding of the industry, combined with a substantial network, will enable you to identify new opportunities and foster relationships that will lead to sustained growth. A significant part of your role will involve spearheading our business development efforts, as well as managing and leading our sales team towards achieving exceptional results. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets, with a specific focus on expanding our market share in the APAC region. Seeking leads and approaching potential clients. Leverage your extensive network to identify new business opportunities within the life sciences sector, focusing on fluorescence markers and immunological tests (TR-FRET, multiplexing, Lateral Flow). Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting customer relationships. Create, manage, and mentor a team to expand our client base and boost sales through strategic hiring, leadership, and innovative strategies. Work closely with the R&D and Marketing teams to identify customer needs and market trends, ensuring our product offerings meet the highest standards of innovation and quality. Attend industry conferences, workshops, and other networking events to promote HK‑Dtech's products and services, particularly focusing on opportunities in the APAC region. Provide detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, competitor analysis, and team progress. Responsible for closing deals and customer retention. Desired Profile Proven track record of success (minimum 4 years) in a similar role within the life sciences sector (RUO), with significant experience in selling fluorescence markers or immunological tests such as TR-FRET, ELISA, Multiplexing or Lateral Flow. Strong network within the life sciences industry (particularly in APAC region). Demonstrated experience in leading and managing sales teams to achieve business objectives. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to achieving sales goals. Ability to travel as needed, especially within APAC region. Very good level in English and any local languages from the region is an advantage (Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Malaysian mainly). What We Offer Reports to C level.
