Job Description - AVP/Senior Associate/Associate (Checker), Corporate Actions & Custodian, Corporate Banking ) Job Description AVP/Senior Associate/Associate (Checker), Corporate Actions & Custodian, Corporate Banking - ( ) Business Function Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Responsibility Perform and / or check pre-processing works for trade input, market data input such as pricing & corporate action events, holding reconciliation, securities master setup, cash transaction input for net asset value (NAV) for our portfolios of hedge funds and private equity funds. Perform and / or check fund valuation, NAV reconciliation, general ledger and transaction input. Liaise with auditors on fund audit work Ensure stock, cash reconciliation, fees and expenses are properly accrued To ensure subscription and redemption records are properly updated in the system Handle enquiries from fund managers, counter parties efficiently Adhere to the operating procedures and agreed services standard; comply with company and regulatory requirements Participate in project initiatives, business development, and user acceptance test for process/ system enhancements Manage working relationships with clients, other service partners to ensure that a seamless process flow Supervise and guide subordinates Requirement Degree holder in Business / Accounting or related disciplines. Minimum 6 year of relevant working experience in fund administration. Experienced with people management experience is preferred. Experienced in managing fund accounting pre-processing activities is an added advantage. Sound knowledge in financial product such as equities, fixed income securities, derivatives, foreign exchange, interest rate swap, etc. Sound knowledge in accounting, preferably with professional qualification. Multifonds system experience would be an advantage. Immediate available is preferred. The incumbent will be considered our Fund Administration Pre-Processing team or Fund Accounting team according to his knowledge and experience. Good performers have the opportunity to second to the other teams to learn the other portfolios for development into well rounded professional in Fund Administration. The incumbent with strong organization and people skills will join the Fund Administration management team to oversight daily production and management of the team. Good command of written and spoken English, and Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin).
