Senior Merchandising Manager – Luxury Watch & Jewelry (HKMOTW) The Senior Merchandising Manager (Department Head) is responsible for driving sales performance and enhancing the brand image through effective management of the jewelry and watch assortment, sales analysis, and action planning. Key Responsibilities Define the assortment strategy for each boutique cluster, ensuring differentiation and boutique-specific specialties while aligning with corporate guidelines. Establish budgets and sales targets by collection, closely monitor performance, and develop actionable strategies to achieve objectives. Conduct comprehensive sales and stock analyses, prepare necessary reports, identify business opportunities, and collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain, and HQ teams to support informed decision-making. Oversee assortment planning and execution for store openings, working in partnership with the Product Visual Merchandising team. Gather and analyze market intelligence and competitor insights, developing targeted plans to address emerging business needs. Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with Commercial, Marketing, CRM, Product Visual Merchandising, Logistics, and HQ teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment. Serve as a key liaison between regional teams and HQ, consolidating feedback and facilitating consistent business direction. Build a close working relationship with the Merchandising team in China to develop an integrated strategy for Greater China. Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain team on distribution strategy, delivery planning, and stock level management to align with business forecasts and objectives. Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree or above. Fluent in both Chinese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Minimum 10 years of merchandising experience within the luxury retail industry, preferably in jewelry; watches experience is an advantage. Strong understanding of luxury retail operations, processes, and procedures. Solid knowledge of the local market, competitors, and industry trends. Working knowledge of supply chain and distribution processes. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience in SAP and Power BI is preferred. Highly organized, capable of multitasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with excellent attention to detail. A collaborative team player with outstanding communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional leadership skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
