The Group Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the global purchasing strategy across multiple categories (luxury knitwear, sports series, electronics, etc.), optimizing supply chain resource integration, and ensuring that procurement quality, costs, delivery align with the group’s brand positioning and sustainability goals. Aussco Group, a fashion and lifestyle company based in Hong Kong with factories in Dongguan, is a market leader in high quality fashion. Responsibilities Lead global procurement activities to ensure alignment with company strategy and goals. Develop and execute procurement strategies to enhance supply chain management and improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Design and implement efficient procurement processes, including demand forecasting, supplier selection, contract negotiation, order management, and logistics coordination. Regularly review and improve procurement processes to adapt to market changes and company development needs. Build and manage a high-performing procurement team with expertise in luxury knitwear, sports series, and consumer electronics. Provide necessary training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and efficiency, fostering a positive team culture that promotes collaboration and communication. Develop and maintain a global supplier network, monitor and analyze international market trends, and evaluate supplier performance. Manage supplier performance through regular reviews to ensure compliance with quality and delivery requirements. Implement effective cost analysis and control measures to reduce and optimize procurement costs. Identify and manage potential risks in the procurement process, developing strategies to ensure supply chain security and stability, and establish a raw material price fluctuation warning mechanism. Work closely with the design and sales teams to engage early in new product/season development to ensure material availability. Partner with the sustainability department to promote the use of recycled materials and ensure all procurement activities comply with international trade regulations, company policies, and ethical standards, while advancing sustainable procurement practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree, preferably in a knitwear-related field Excellent command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin At least 10 years of procurement experience in the knitwear industry, with experience in building procurement processes and managing teams of 15+ Familiar with the characteristics of knit yarns and materials, knitting production processes, industry standards, market trends, and product characteristics. Knowledge of innovative materials, technologies, and processes is a plus. Knowledge of procurement processes for environmentally friendly raw materials and certification requirements (GOTS/OCS/GRS/RCS/RWS) Proficient in office software and procurement management systems, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills Station in Dongguan (3 days a week) Application Questions Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Hong Kong?
