We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager, Customer Credit.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Verify documents submitted by the clients to ensure the documents are accurate and align with the bank requirements
  • Audit trade credit insurance policy documents submitted by clients to ensure the validity and comply with bank requirements
  • Identifying potential risks and provide advice on operational procedures and practice within the team and escalating to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner
  • To ensure service quality standards are achieved and maintained in line with the banks objectives
  • Assist in leading the Customer Credit Team to provide quality business ledger administration of client’s problem accounts and disputed debts by active monitor of progress with factored buyers, factors, insurance brokers or insurers as well as the correctness of documents and shipment details
  • Provide advice and assistance to team members in handling special irregular cases, including special debt verification handling and investigation of any suspected fraud cases
Requirements
  • Able to deliver excellent customers services to the clients and provide support on trade credit insurance topic
  • Candidates with experience in audit/assurance and/or commercial bank/corporate bank lending or insurance claims & recoveries are highly preferable
  • Follow bank’s policies to deliver the required services but also able to break the “status quo” to provide ideas on streamline the process
  • Be an excellent team player and provide support to the team when required
  • Experience in using Excel in data analysis
  • Experience in making sound decisions after seeking and evaluating relevant information, facts and evidence. Willingness to commit to a firm course of action and be held accountable for outcomes
  • Excellent awareness of financial implications of actions taken on business unit and the contribution to overall group profitability
