Job Summary:
We are looking for a high caliber talent with proven experience on managed hosting or colocation business management of strong customer serving and operations background to join as Vice President of the Hosting Services team. You are responsible for business performance, customer servicing, and operations management to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure hosting solutions that support hosting customers' need and our HKEX business objectives.
Job Duties:
Hosting Services Manager (Vice President) - Information Technology
HKEX Hosting Services offers the most reliable, deterministic and lowest latency to HKEX trading and market data systems, creating an open and vibrant ecosystem to market participants and service providers. Hosting Services operate within a purpose-built tier 4 data centre owned and operated by HKEX. The facility enhances algorithmic and high frequency trading opportunities through sophisticated technology which contributes to a significant portion of trade flow for HKEX markets.
Job Descriptions:
- Partner with the business to develop and execute the strategic vision for the HKEX's hosting services to ensure alignment with business needs and meet annual operating plans (AOP) financial and costs targets
- Manage a team of hosting business services, customer service and billing support to deliver high quality hosting solutions and client centricity
- Oversee the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the hosting infrastructure and platforms as well as the operational support systems
- Optimize hosting performance, reliability, and security to meet service level agreements and regulatory / compliance requirements
- Manage hosting budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships
- Implement processes and procedures to ensure efficient hosting operations and incident response with playbooks and drills
- Stay informed on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the hosting ecosystem environment
- Collaborate cross-functionally within IT and business teams to understand requirements and deliver effective hosting solutions
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience with 5+ years in a leadership role preferably with P/L accountability and strong customer serving and operations background
- Proven experience in market connectivity and data center co-location environment serving banking and finance industry
- Knowledge in trading applications and technologies preferably
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management; customer service experience is an advantage
