Our client, a Reputable International Law Firm, is seeking an accredited FP&A Manager to join their expanding finance department. You will be a trusted business partner for the legal case team helping with pricing and budgeting to drive the best results for the firm. This is a NEWLY CREATED HEADCOUNT. Candidates with less experience (2+ years) can also be considered for Analyst level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial performance of the Account through the development of a value-oriented pricing strategy.
- Identify avenues for boosting profits and revenue growth.
- Utilize data analytics to track and assess financial metrics, drawing insights from case team analyses.
- Leverage industry expertise to inform pricing decisions and explore innovative fee structures.
- Collaborate with Account teams to establish and monitor budgets in line with the Firm’s financial objectives.
- Assist the Senior Pricing and Profitability Manager in enhancing the knowledge and skills of team members.
- Support Partners and Account teams in managing collections, credit, and investment thresholds.
- Conduct training sessions for Business Services and Fee-earner personnel and departments.
- Familiarize yourself with the Firm's standards and benchmarks to foster Account expansion.
- Regularly update best practice resources and internal knowledge materials in collaboration with Pricing and Profitability peers.
- Engage with risk and business development units to deliver holistic solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in FP&A (financial planning and analysis field) / management accounting / pricing and profitability management,
- Law firm experience is highly preferred with project management skills as well
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of team
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tool
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills in English
