We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Actuarial Management Analyst.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Support assigned managers in day-to-day duties and activities
  • Economic Capital Team: Support and advise the assigned managers on reviewing the Economic Capital (EC) / Hong Kong Risk Based Capital (HKRBC) methodology, model and result of the company. To provide oversight on the EC / HKRBC calculation process to ensure the process is robust and any movement in the capital requirement can be adequately explained. Communication of EC / HKRBC results to senior management in a layman manner, and to lead the embedding of EC / HKRBC into business decisions
  • Product Pricing: Advise stakeholders on all aspects of product pricing, profitability and actuarial risk
  • Review pricing models with proper and appropriate controls in accordance with Group standards
  • Conduct annual profitability review, in depth product review/analysis
  • Finance Actuarial: Support and advise the assigned managers to oversee and monitor financial results of the company under different basis, such as statutory basis, IFRS17 basis, etc. Responsible for review and challenge of the key economic and non-economic assumptions for life business
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Project management experience, organizational skills and ability to think innovatively
  • Experience preparing and/or conducting briefings and interfacing at all levels of management
  • Demonstrated initiative, autonomy and commitment to process improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically balanced with practical day-to-day execution
  • Demonstrated negotiation, leadership and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Prophet is preferable
