A Chinese Corporate Bank is looking for a Checker role to join their Trade Finance Services & Operations Team.
The ideal candidate will supervise the daily activities of the Trade Finance Operations Team & ensure the team in compliance with banking policy and procedure.

Your new role

  • Perform a checker / releaser role for daily Trade Operations activities including Import LC issuance/amendment, bill booking and payment, document checking, Bank Guarantees, Trust Receipts ; Support Export LC related products (Advising, Confirmation, Discounting, Collection, etc.) if needed
  • Perform the duty of checking and approval of all trade transactions
  • Process Trade Finance transactions in accordance with International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) rules and the Bank's policies and procedures
  • Deal with internal / external parties for matters related to trade transactions
  • Participate in system enhancement and conduct UAT
  • Take up ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree related field
  • 8 Years experience in Trade Finance/ Bills Operations in Banking
  • Experienced with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
