A well-established local life insurer is looking for a chief risk officer to act as the key person in control.
Your new role
- Serve as the Key Person in Charge of Risk Management for the Insurance Authority, ensuring effective Enterprise Risk Management.
- Lead the team in developing, updating, and implementing risk management polices and control systems.
- Work with regulators to ensure the risk management frameworks meet the regulatory expectations and requirements.
- Advise on the new product development and investment activities in the life insurance business.
- Monitor and manage the risk and return of the investment portfolio for the Life Manufacturing business.
- Collaborate with different stakeholders to implement group requirements for the Life Insurance Business.
What you'll need to succeed - University degree or higher in Business Administration, Actuarial Science, or related disciplines, preferably with professional qualifications in Actuary and Risk Management.
- Minimum15 years of relevant experience in risk management within the Life Insurance Business.
- Strong leadership and management skills in developing and motivating employees, with excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and project management abilities.
- A strong sense of ownership and a service-oriented mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
- Proficiency in both English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
What you'll get in return
- Successful candidates will be offered a monthly salary ranging from HKD 150,000 to 170,000 depending on your interview performance and level of experience;
