Job Description

ICT Software Development Project Manager. Immediate availability is preferable, and alternate Saturday work (half-day) is required.

Responsibilities

  1. Design management for cloud application and design works.
  2. Assist to supervise and coordinate overall design from concept to implementation, avoiding and mitigating any potential project risks in all aspects.
  3. Liaise with stakeholders, expert panels, consultant teams to understand the design and construction practice and statutory requirements.
  4. Provide advice on the selection and appointment of relevant consultants and design review.
  5. Liaise/Coordinate with project team members, clients, operators, and outside parties in preparing design brief, appointment of consultants and master program.
  6. Work closely with design and project team members, consultants during the whole process of agile project throughout the development process.
  7. Handle and coordinate the new software development project.
  8. Make verification on design, development, testing, deployment, and review to determine compliance with project specifications, plans, and additional requirements on operation requirements.
  9. Prepare written materials including correspondence, reports, procedures, and guidelines related to project file maintenance and document control.
  10. Update project reports daily and project staging on a weekly basis.
  11. Provide strong leadership and guidance to the development team.
  12. Liaise with relevant stakeholders and software developers on statutory submissions, approvals, and inspections.
  13. Based on site for some projects.

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Project Manager.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise subordinates in project operation, cost and quotation analysis, quality control, and logistics to fulfill the tight timeline set.
  2. Liaise with customers, designers, sub-contractors, and vendors.
  3. Monitor and supervise all Electrical & Extra Low Voltage (ELV) and Network Structure cabling projects.
  4. Liaise with clients, main contractors, consultants, and sub-contractors.
  5. Prepare system drawings including layout drawing, pipe duct details, plant room details, etc., as well as equipment and individual preparation and submission for approval and procurement.
  6. Prepare tender, job budget estimation, and submission.

Job Requirements

ICT Software Development Project Manager

Requirements:

  1. Degree / Associate Degree or equivalent in Programming / Computer Science or other related discipline preferred.
  2. Minimum 10 years software development work experience preferred.
  3. Minimum 5 recent years of experience in cloud-based application with solid design experience. Strong knowledge in overall design, coding, and use of toolchain.
  4. Experience in project and design management, with experiences in system integration preferred.
  5. Experience in access control system, car park system, video surveillance is highly preferable.
  6. Experience in building services works / cyber security is highly preferable but not necessary.
  7. Excellent communication skills with good command of spoken and written English, Chinese, and fluency in Putonghua and Cantonese.
  8. Solid coordination experience of projects in China are required.
  9. Proficiency in agile planning tools and MS Project are necessary.
  10. Be responsible, self-motivated and can work under pressure.
  11. Well-disciplined, hardworking, responsible, able to work independently and willing to work overtime.

Additional Requirements:

  1. University graduate / Higher Diploma in Electronic Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Information and Communication Technology.
  2. At least 5 years or above relevant working experience in ELV projects management, specializing in ELV Systems and Network Structure cabling will be an advantage.
  3. Strong knowledge in overall ELV design and planning. Fluent in Cantonese, Putonghua, and English; able to read & write Chinese and English.
  4. Security Personnel Permit D; Green Card; Construction Workers Registration Card.
