The Regional Clinical Expert is responsible for providing high quality dependable professional clinical support on sizing and planning for Artivion Endovascular portfolio focusing on TAAA solutions in the defined target geography. The role supports the APAC business ensuring better patient outcomes while creating an impeccable customer experience, meeting time expectations and setting a new industry benchmark in clinical support. The aim is to maximize sales and market share in APAC, establish our position as a clear market leader with high quality clinical solutions advancing patient care.

This position will be part of a professional set of experts that differentiates Artivion from other manufacturers through our knowledge and customer-oriented behavior. He/she will also support the training and certification process of our sales team through impacting training and conducting assessments.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Provide sizing and planning service for TAAA solutions in APAC primarily focused on custom made offering and complex off the shelf solutions.
  2. Provide onsite support for complex cases to our customers and field clinical specialists as determined by the complexity of the case. Where onsite support is not deemed necessary, evaluate and be available for remote support.
  3. Engage customers in conversations to understand patient anatomy, disease progression and explain possible solutions with pros and cons for each option combined with pitfalls, challenges, risks and mitigation for each step of the process.
  4. Maintain a repository of all cases in Sharepoint and create a reference compendium as needed.
  5. Deliver high-quality customer education and training related to cases and therapy development, sharing and developing best practices across the region for both internal and external learning.
  6. Conduct training and clinical support throughout the APAC region as requested by the education manager or sales managers to enhance the clinical expertise of the sales/clinical team.
  7. Comply with mandatory training and attend programs as required to maintain and develop the knowledge necessary to fulfill the role effectively.
  8. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Distributor teams to develop activities aimed at achieving sales targets and gaining market share.
  9. Maintain knowledge of competitors' products and provide competitive training.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and decision-makers.
  11. Work with the sales team to understand the needs and objectives of customers at all levels, including clinical and economic stakeholders, to develop tailored solutions that maximize market potential.
  12. Stay updated with new research, clinical practices, and the evolution of the disease/treatment regime to maintain a high level of knowledge in the therapeutic area.
  13. Partner with the education manager to develop centers of excellence and deliver live case workshops to drive best practices in clinical success and patient selection.
  14. Be willing to work irregular hours to meet emergency patient needs and ensure the right inventory is available for successful outcomes in procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Pharmaceutical or Life science related field preferred with minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Endovascular products and at least 5 years' of TAAA experience.
  2. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile organization and be motivated by a high-growth, high-performing environment.
  3. Demonstrate a solutions-focused approach with high capability to solve problems and present solutions.
  4. Possess the capacity to gain in-depth product and procedure knowledge and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  5. Must be self-disciplined, organized and be able to take ownership and responsibility for business objectives.
  6. Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout APAC region.
  7. Highly motivated and have strong desire to succeed in a demanding role.
