Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily operational processes related to equity prime brokerage, including trade support, settlement, and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with front office teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of client transactions.
  • Analyze and resolve discrepancies in trade data and client accounts, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Participate in projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and client service delivery.
  • Support the development and implementation of new tools and processes to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Engage with clients on ad hoc requests and onboarding workflows.
  • Contribute to defining specifications and performing UAT for new information systems or booking schemes.
  • Document/update procedures related to sensitive processes and controls.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to understand the broader aspects of equity markets and prime brokerage services.

Profile Required

  • Hold a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or similar.
  • Equity derivative products knowledge is preferred.
  • Risk focused: demonstrate operational risk detection and analysis.
  • Result oriented: demonstrate strong drive to achieve results while estimating the risk of own actions.
  • Client focus: consistently search for ways to improve client service.
  • Excellent communication skills: with an ability to use these collaboratively, explain and challenge, as appropriate.

This is a fixed-term 24-month Trainee contract with Société Générale. You will form part of the team on a full-time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position, please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract.
