What you will do

Data & Insights Analyst is responsible for business data and insights analysis to facilitate commercial strategic planning, operations and execution optimization. As part of the role, he/she will need to ensure business data integrity and master data management in the affiliate. He/She will also play a key role in implementation of commercial excellence processes, as well as deliver strategic insights (via campaign data analysis, market research, competitor intelligence) to commercial team.

  • Responsible for tracking and monitoring of in-market performance results; manages sales and marketing KPIs reporting and systems, improving quality and timely availability of data.
  • Responsible for master data management in a multi-source environment, manage and maintain customer data in various systems (e.g., Veeva CRM, IQVIA, OneKey, MDM, GDnA, etc.), define the data governance process and ensure the data governance and processes are embedded in daily business practice.
  • Own and manage Amgen CRM system (Veeva CRM) and related systems, providing training and support to the commercial team; including but not limited to, user onboarding/offboarding, system setup and troubleshooting, etc.
  • Generate data insights for omni-channel customer engagement initiatives to optimize reach, frequency, engagement, and customer experience.
  • Support brand teams on utilizing findings from market research and learnings from campaigns for patient forecast model assumptions and brand performance tracking.
  • Support sales incentive plan design, calculation and documentation.
  • Work closely with Regional/Global Commercial Excellence, DTI, BAI stakeholders and local brand leads and build Amgen Hong Kong's capability in commercial insights, forecasting and competitive intelligence

What we expect of you


• Bachelor or master's degree in Business, Marketing, Information technology or similar


• At least 3-5 years of experience in commercial excellence in pharmaceutical industry, sales force effectiveness and data analysis and business operations with exposure to senior management and working cross-functionally


• Strong interpersonal skills and good track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams


• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.


• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and business analytic tools
