As the Head of Health & Safety across Asia Pacific, you will perform corporate HS governance to third party facility service provider teams and internal stakeholder clients for the overall management of corporate HS policies, procedures, regulatory HS audits for the firm's portfolios globally.The major function of this role is to engage the entire business in market-leading, HS-conscious behaviours and decision making.
This role is sponsored and supported within the region. You will have daily visibility of and engagement with the most senior people in the organization.
Responsibilities:
Effective verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and the ability to exercise judgment during crisis situations Incumbent must be able to provide subject matter expertise to various Corporate stakeholders on property Due Diligence environmental risks to the firm Conducted a workplace safety review to identify, prioritize and manage HS risks across the region. Conducted a workplace safety review to identify, prioritize and manage HSE risks across the region. Develop, implement, and update Corporate HS policies and procedure departmental playbooks to promote regulatory compliance, liability risk control, and program continuity Act as company liaison for HS regulatory interface, correspondence submittals, and regulatory fine(s) violation negotiations Develop Health and Safety Audit protocols and implement ISO/OHSAS audit program to provide consistent application of contractor managmenet standards
Requirements:
Degree qualification with 15+ years of relevant working experience across the APAC region Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong public speaking skills desired In-depth knowledge and understanding of health & safety and relevant health & safety management systems Ability to influence top management in a multi-cultural environment and work effectively with operations teams of different disciplines. Occasional business travel Excellent command of English and Chinese
