Job Description

:Reporting to Senior Manager, Commodity Sourcing, you will lead process enhancement and automation projects to achieve digital transformation implementation. You will also be responsible for the regional supplier sourcing for complete products, provide suggestions on product design from a cost perspective and work with internal parties to ensure vendor quotations match product specifications and product costs as manufacturers quoted are reasonable. What will you work on? Support and provide input on the process flow structure for the system automation plan. Implement and execute the project plan with key stakeholders. Act as a key member from Asia to participate in working with global project team on the assigned tasks.  Collaborate with end-users to design and implement new features for system enhancement. Work closely with end-users to conduct User Acceptance Tests and ensure on-time project delivery. Liaise with vendors and suppliers on product costs. Work with internal and external parties to achieve identified target costs for new products. Prepare the internal product quotation based on the preliminary function description and sketches for new and existing development projects. Support the materials, components and new suppliers sourcing for new projects as required. Support special assignments as requested by department manager.
What are your skills and experience? Bachelor’s degree in engineering/procurement/supply chain or equivalent. 7 years of sourcing and product costing experience. Hands-on experience in SAP and MS Analytics software. Familiarize with supplier sourcing. Strong analytical skills, self-motivation initiative, able to work independently. Perform effective communication skills with all employees, suppliers, and management levels. Knowledge of toy manufacturing industry procurement is an advantage. Project management experience is an advantage. Good command of spoken written English Chinese. Good team player and willing to learn.
