As an Associate in the Prime Financial Services Transition Management team, you will act as a relationship manager, be the dedicated, single point of contact for clients throughout the onboarding process. The Transition Management team is responsible for converting a client mandate into an active account by coordinating across multiple internal teams. The aim is to deliver a seamless, first-class onboarding experience for our clients, spanning multiple asset classes and markets. 

Job Description

Act as a single point of contact for clients throughout the onboarding process. Establish and maintain relationships with primary client contacts, such as COO’s, CEO’s and Heads of Operations.  Responsible for hosting and running regular client meetings as well as partnering closely with hedge fund start-ups to provide additional guidance and assistance during their infancy. Liaising with third parties such as trading platforms, legal counsels, and consulting firms.  Responsible for representing clients internally, ensuring their requirements are being met accurately and delivered with a sense of urgency.  Own the delivery of a client onboarding from initiation through till go-live, whilst proactively providing updates to clients.  Maintain consistent progress throughout the onboarding by collaborating with partner teams and identifying potential differences between current . Morgan offering and client requirements, working with multiple partners to solve. Coordinate across multiple internal teams across many regions, asset classes and markets (Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives . Building and maintaining strong relationships with partners teams, such as Sales, Credit Risk, Margin Trading, Execution, Legal, Account Management, Middle Offices etc. to facilitate client timelines. 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

Bachelor’s Degree Minimum 3 years of relevant experience Experience with either hedge funds or a relevant product (Prime Brokerage, Equities, Fixed Income, OTC and ETD Derivatives etc) Strong interpersonal, communication and client management skills with an ability to build meaningful relationships with both clients and internal partner groups.  Excellent project management, time management and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task and deliver within tight and changeable timeframes. Strong problem-solving ability: can anticipate possible issues and seek to eliminate, mitigate, and escalate as appropriate. Sense of ownership and accountability to client and business leadership are key. Confident, driven, self-starter with an ability to work independently. Inquisitive, tenacious and investigative; able to have a consultative approach with business partner teams on complicated workflows.  Excellent attention to detail with intent to provide high level of accuracy.
