Our products and services include advisory, financing, prime services, research and analysis, securities services, trading and sales and transaction banking. 

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Sales Manager, Global Banking Corporates.

Principal Responsibilities

Work in close partnership with Global Banking Coverage and the wider Global Payments Solutions teams to generate regional business development opportunities Jointly formulate and execute client engagement strategies focusing on digital transformation and payment industry changes with Coverage teams to acquire sustainable new to bank opportunities and deepen the HSBC cash management wallet share Adopt a consultative advisory approach to understand complex customer requirements within an extensive portfolio in order to provide effective cash management solutions that meet those requirements especially in the digital space Proactively drive, prioritise and grow a deal pipeline through collaboration with global and regional stakeholders to create opportunities and deliver tangible value to the Global Payments Solutions franchise Effectively collaborate and coordinate with Sales, Client Management and Product teams across markets and functions to deliver sales proposals and provide appropriate solutions to clients Work cohesively with Implementation, Integration and Client Management teams to ensure smooth transition of client mandates into realised revenues, as well as to provide ongoing coverage in response to clients’ evolving challenges and requirements especially in the digital development space Engage and collaborate with product partners across the bank ( Trade Finance, Global Markets etc.) to present holistic solutions to clients and increase total bank wallet share in line with the Bank’s strategies Achieve financial and non-financial key performance indicators assigned Ensure key performance indicators, comprehensive sales records and deal activities are tracked and maintained in a robust, disciplined and timely manner to provide clear visibility of performance and sales quality Be part of the team to drive innovative digital development and enhancement in Global Payments Solutions by keeping informed and responsive to the competitive market landscape, emerging trends and critical themes, providing feedback to relevant teams Identify opportunities to co-create with clients, partner on publications and articles, and support internal and external events to promote the business, brand and key initiatives Requirements Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Administration, or relevant disciplines Experienced corporate banking relationship management Knowledge in Cash Management products Knowledge in Trade Finance or Global Markets would be advantageous Able to work under pressure with Key Performance Indicator Ability to operate on a cross regional and cross functional basis Experienced in managing multiple countries and complex deals across regions Highly motivated and achievement driven with an ability to formulate and articulate sales strategies Well-developed communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills Proven ability to multi task and manage multiple high priority and high profile projects Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills Fluency in written and verbal English with Cantonese, Mandarin or other language speaking will be a plus
