Our Client a IT Services company is looking to hire Manager- Overseas Business Management Lead.

 

Job Summary:

  • Focusing on Japanese clients – spoken Japanese is mandatory for this role
  • Ensure overseas branches comply with Head Office policies, guidelines and standards. 
  •  Assist in formulating strategy and planning for overseas branches. 
  •  Provide technical guidance and support for projects relating to overseas branches. 
  • Assist in improving overseas day-to-day operation. 
  • VAT and EORI registration consulting

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in formulating and implementing strategy and planning for overseas branches. 
  • Help manage projects related to overseas branches and provide related support to Project Managers. 
  • Assist to evaluate and identify potential challenges for overseas branches to minimize business risks. 
  • Ensures effective communication in place between overseas branches and Head Office from project and day-to-day operations point of view. 
  • Identify, prioritize, and help drive service improvements for overseas branches and subsidiaries. 
  • Review and refine policies and guidelines developed by overseas branches to ensure alignment with Head Office. 
  • Assist to revamp the existing mechanism and practices of managing overseas branches. 
  • Assist to ensure overseas branches vendors are evaluated and performance monitored properly. 

Requirements

A)        Knowledge, Skill & Attributes 

·        Exposure to multiple computer platforms 

·        Good communication and influencing skills at all levels 

·        Good project management skills 

·        Good understanding in pearls and jewellery industry 

B)        Academic and Professional Qualification 

  • Degree holder in Business Administration
  • Knowledge on Akoya, Tahiti, South Sea, Fresh Water and Kasumi Pearls
  • Taking Part in Paspaley Pearl Auction/ Gerdau Pearl Auction Tahiti Pearl Private Auction, Robert Wan Tahiti Perles Auction
  • Liaison and negotiation with suppliers like Concorde Pearls & Gems (Far East) Ltd., Belpearl (Hong Kong) Ltd., Tai Hai Yang Ltd. (Robert Wan), Seaway Creation Limited (Jewelmer), Australian Pearl Centre (Hong Kong) Ltd.
  • -Advertising & Event Management
  • -A brand developer
  • -Plan, organize and implement exhibitions
  • -Develop marketing and promotional materials
  • -Understand current trends in local, foreign markets and suggest new lines.
  • -Develop marketing strategies
  • -Improve and develop relationship with customers
  • -Co-ordinate with our retail stores on production schedule
  • -Monitor and follow up on order processing
  • -Handle quality control
  • -Administer effective distribution/internal transfer of merchandise to the retail stores 
  • Experience in Japan and Hong Kong retail market order and replenishment

Must be fluent in Japanese , English and Hindi
