We are looking for Landscape Designer to join our prestigious Landscape team under the Urbanism + Planning business line in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the team lead/ studio lead to propose the landscape design concept for large-scale residential development and infrastructure projects in Hong Kong
- Assists in the development of the project design, site plans, production of presentation drawings, sketches and assists in solving design complexities.
- Work closely to assist the team leader to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of landscape architecture projects.
- Coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees under U+P studios or other business lines participating in an assigned project.
- Coordinate with contractors and architectural consultants for site construction works; Liaise with material suppliers for project support
- Review and apply local standard landscape architecture design techniques, procedures and criteria
Qualifications
- Bachelor or master’s in landscape architecture or architecture
- For entry-level Landscape Designer, minimum 3 years of relevant post-professional qualification experience; For mid-level Landscape Designer, minimum 6 years of relevant post-professional qualification experience
- Must demonstrate strong management and design judgment and most importantly, as desire to learn and grow.
- Good command of written and spoken English and/or Mandarin, Cantonese would be a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate and communicate with the professional disciplines;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino and/or SketchUp, Photoshop, and InDesign would be an advantage;
- Ability to work within a team and work independently;
- Responsible, hardworking and self-motivated
- Experience in local landscape consultancy firm would be an advantage.
