About the Role


AECOM is seeking a skilled Senior Landscape Designer to join our prestigious Landscape team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our Urbanism + Planning business line, you will be responsible for developing detailed landscape designs for various development projects in Hong Kong.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape architecture and a minimum of 6-8 years of relevant post-qualification experience. You will be required to assist in the development of project designs, site plans, and presentation drawings, as well as coordinate and supervise technical and administrative activities.


We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with professional disciplines. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, and/or SketchUp, Photoshop, and InDesign is an advantage.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects that shape the world around us. Our design process is based on energy-efficient building systems, and we prioritize the selection of materials and form to maximize environmental conditions and long-term performance.


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop detailed landscape designs for various development projects in Hong Kong
  • Assist in the development of project designs, site plans, and presentation drawings
  • Coordinate and supervise technical and administrative activities
  • Liaise with contractors/sub-contractors and other consultants for site construction works
  • Ensure adherence to local landscape architecture design standards, procedures, and criteria throughout project execution

Requirements



  • Diploma, Bachelor, or Master in landscape architecture or related disciplines
  • Minimum 6-8 years of relevant post-qualification experience
  • Strong management and design judgment, with a desire to learn and grow
  • Good command of written and spoken English and/or Mandarin, Cantonese a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with professional disciplines
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, and/or SketchUp, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
  • Responsible, hardworking, and self-motivated
  • Experience in local landscape construction sites an advantage

Benefits


AECOM offers a competitive salary of HK$650,000 - HK$800,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a wide array of compensation, benefits, and well-being programs to meet the diverse needs of our employees and their families.
