Job Overview

Benoy is seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Designer to lead our landscape design team in leveraging technology in our design work.

  • Handle multiple projects, including assisting with modeling and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the landscape team to deliver BIM-based projects and coordinate with other internal teams.
  • Manage project data sets, workflows, and project setup according to Benoy BIM Execution Plan and BIM Manual standards.
  • Manage project common data environment (CDE) with ACC.
  • Have experience with landscape BIM projects.
  • Work with the APAC BIM Manager to adjust the BIM Execution Plan and BIM Manual as required.
  • Experience with interoperation between BIM software (Revit) and design software (Rhino) is a plus.
  • Follow the BIM and Parametric system from the APAC BIM Manager and provide training for the landscape team.
  • Experience with parametric software such as Dynamo/Grasshopper is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the design process and project brief to support project deliverables.
  • Deliver high-quality concept designs and detailed packages.
  • Manage third parties according to project parameters.

  • Respond positively to clients and consultants.
  • Support senior team members with client presentations and meetings.

Required Skills and Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from a reputable university.
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
  • Advanced proficiency in prioritizing across multiple projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in setting up Revit projects.
  • Knowledge in defining and updating Revit templates for different design stages.
  • Advanced proficiency in sheet setup, drawing extraction, and model purging for external collaboration.
  • Advanced proficiency in configuring and managing projects' BIM data sets.
  • Advanced proficiency in resolving technical Revit issues.
  • Good creative flair and imagination.
  • Excellent graphics, strong design, and communication skills are essential.
  • Demonstrate creative thinking abilities and contribute to firm-wide design excellence and problem-solving.
  • Inquisitive and a good listener.
  • Act as a team player, actively seeking feedback and demonstrating a positive attitude.
  • Respond positively to clients and consultants.
  • Provide support to senior team members with client presentations and meetings.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator), AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint). Knowledge of Revit is a plus but not essential.
  • Mature, well-organized, confident, and hardworking with a pleasant disposition and strong interpersonal skills and able to multi-task.
  • Quick learner with a high level of commitment will have an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of tropical and sub-tropical plant materials and some experience in Planting Design is a plus.
  • Complete work in a timely and efficient manner.
