JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to support and assist in the management of medium to complex space planning.

TheSr.Space Designer provides advanced real estate planning services and comprehensive space planning deliverables that meet the client's business and real estate needs/objectives.

Located on the client site from,this positionworks on a global financial institution account and in a multi-countryregion-basedorganization, andshares knowledge and design/ planning principles throughclientpresentations and workshops.

DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES

  • Responsible for managing the delivery of all reporting that will be used as management decision support tools for forecasting space needs.
  • Understands business drivers to ensure all metrics provided are of value. Understands long term plan to track & forecast against approved data.
  • Develops and executes migration plans for MAC moves.
  • Communicates recommendations in written reports and graphic presentations. Produces graphic charts and diagrams for visual display of quantitative and qualitative information. Illustrates organizational, operational, and functional relationships that pose physical and spatial impacts.
  • Generates conceptual solutions that respond to clients spatial requirements, physical planning constraints and corresponding IT, HR, and compliance requirements. Evaluates alternative scenarios against criteria for success.
  • Support all related moves and occupancy planning. Prepares program reports for presentation to theclients.
  • Works withclientsto incorporate analytics into appropriate reporting and presentations.
  • Participates in facilities and capitalproject meetings. Supportclientsin meetings with Business Division representatives and facilitates discussion/programming of space requirements (headcount/growth, allocations, adjacencies, special support needs).
  • Creates CAD based blocking/furniture plans.
  • MaintainsCBREs on site relationship and quality assurance with the client.
  • Understanding of commercial relationship between CBRE and clients, maximizing performance and applying contract terms, in respect ofcompanyvalues.
  • Keen ability to collectrequirements/information and translatetheminto defined real estate strategy and occupancy plans.
  • Performsfacility occupancy planning (e.g., analysis, options development, evaluation, and recommendations).
  • Distilscomplex data and providesessential information for client decision-making.
  • Developsblocking plans, testfits, analyze spacesand report on building efficiency and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Anticipatesspace solutions to support the client, meeting needs and requirements through optimization of portfolio assets.
  • Promotes, advocates, supportsclient internal space policies and relevant applications.
  • Open to understand and support data analytics and reporting on a ad hoc basis as when required (full training will be provided)

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.
  • Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. Coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

QUALIFICATIONSANDEXPERIENCES

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Significant experience of Space Planning service delivery on multi-site portfolio is preferred.
  • Interior design, space planning and large-scale project management experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of design Health&Safetyrequirements.

  • Minimum5-8years of related experience and preferably with financial institutions/ banking environment.
  • BA in Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate, Interior Design and/or SpacePlanning.
