The Biosciences Central Research Facility (CWB) [BioCRF(CWB)] at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology is a core facility to provide cutting edge technologies in biological research. We are currently seeking candidates with experience not limited to developing creative design solutions and concepts, providing graphic and multimedia design support for the users' publications and social media, as well as creating technical visual drawings. Duties include:

Artwork development and production support for all creative projects, ensuring design aligns with brand image and guideline. Creation of visual assets for daily operation, marketing campaigns, social media content, websites, and print materials, implementing creative concepts to visually communicate ideas. Production of detailed drawings for facility interior design. Coordinating with external and internal parties, such as print vendors and suppliers, to ensure the quality execution of designs is within the production deadlines. Editing and producing instrument training videos to create engaging video content. Perform other ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned.

Applicants should:

Have a Diploma or above in Graphic Design / Multimedia Design or related discipline. Have at least 3 years of working experience in multimedia design, including graphic design, video editing and online digital collaterals, or related disciplines. Have strong portfolio showcasing expertise in graphic design and visual storytelling. Be proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, AutoCAD, 3D Max, Sketchup and other relevant tools. Able to work on multiple projects, self-motivated, responsible, highly organized, with strong attention to details and able to work independently under tight deadlines.Have good time management and work efficiency while maintaining quality. Have strong communication skills with a good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese. Be open-minded and able to think and share feedback with team members proactively.

(Duration: 2 years, renewable)
