PURPOSE

Reporting to Director, Group Rewards, this role focuses on managing Global Mobility & Cross Border tax matters in Group Office and across markets, Annual HR Budget Planning process & forecasting, supporting Group Board Directors’ compensation & Tax Compliance, and other Total Rewards programs & initiatives.

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

Implements and administers global mobility policy and administration of various types of international assignments. Interprets government regulations & policies to ensure cross border assignments/ movements are aligned Develops, propose, or adapts mobility solutions and strategies to fulfill business needs Researches home and host country tax regulations to ensure compliance Liaises with tax consultants for tax reporting requirements and tax calculation and TEQ/ hypo-tax arrangement associated with assignees/transferees Provides guidance and support to Group Office and Country HR teams on cross border movements Lead the staff cost and annual budget preparation, expense management and forecasting with Finance team Liaises with HR team leads/members for proposed budget, cost re-allocation to countries Prepares budget upload templates for timely submission per business planning timelines Prepares presentation materials in functional business planning review meetings Prepares rate card of Shared Services of different locations by grades for functional budget purposes Coordinate quarterly/ bi-yearly forecasting as requested by Finance Acts as Finance business partner Manages Group Board Directors’ fees matters Ensure timely tax reporting of directors and consultants Support any rewards program, analysis, projects, and ad-hoc tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

Qualified Accountant with Bachelor’s degree in related discipline, preferably with taxation accreditation Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with international taxation experience in Big 4 accounting firm is a plus Experience in partnering and liaising with country HR teams

Strong critical / analytical thinking and numeric sense, attention to details Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively interact cross-functionally at the local and group level as well as external parties Excellent Excel capability Confidentiality Self-motivated, able to work independently, possess good inter-personal communication skill and a team player Ability to work in a fast paced and ambiguous environment
