Project Co-ordinator II
The Department of Management is looking for a high calibre candidate to the position of Project Co-ordinator II of a master programme.
Assisting the Programme Director and Associate Director to achieve the strategic goals, the appointee will (a) contribute to the development of student recruiting and marketing strategies; (b) assist in planning and execution of multichannel campaigns promoting the Programme; (c) coordinate with internal and external parties for organising and participating in admissions events; (d) represent the Programme at admissions events, such as information sessions, exhibitions and school visits to generate quality prospects and applicants; (e) play a key role in the admissions exercise, including but not limited to shortlisting applicants, scheduling interviews, validating application documents, preparing recommendation documents for cross team’s confirmation, issuing admission offers and confirming offer acceptance; (f) proactively engage and follow-up with prospects/applicants to improve yield rate and meet team’s enrolment target; (g) provide analytical reports on a regular basis to keep track on the application and admissions status and identify rooms of continuous improvement to optimise yield rate; (h) coordinate and be engaged in initiatives designed to ensure competitive levels of diversity in the incoming class; and (i) perform any other duties as assigned. Irregular working hours and overseas travel may be required.
Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 3 years' post-qualification work experience, preferably in higher education institutions; (iii) excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills; (iv) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); (v) self-motivation, the ability to multitask and work under pressure; (vi) the ability to work independently and as a team member with a strong sense of responsibility; (vii) a good level of experience in student recruiting and marketing within an education context; and (viii) high computer proficiency with confidence and competence in the use of database systems and electronic communication. Knowledge and experience with digital media marketing will be advantageous. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
