A Career with Point72's Investment Professional Development Team Our team aims to enhance the commercial success of long/short investment teams through targeted development programs. The team focuses on developing skills of investment professionals. Primary development programs include analyzing stock pitches, consolidating and sharing best practices, and providing analyses and data to partners across the firm. We are seeking someone with a passion for the public markets who can contribute to the team's goal of improving employee performance across our hedge fund's long/short equities teams. What you'll do Develop and update curriculum of best practices to promote continuous learning and improvement on the investment platform Undertake project-based work in support of Head of Investment Professional Development and senior management Help coordinate and support internal processes including analyst review sessions, coaching sessions, learning sessions, and more Build analytical tools to help measure and improve long/short team performance and investment process Analyze internal performance data to come up with actionable recommendations for our investment professionals Work closely with Compliance on all the above to ensure adherence with applicable Compliance policies and procedures What's required Bachelor degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field5-7 years of experience working in the international financial services sector, with understanding of long/short investing strategies would be helpful Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with employees at all levels of the organization Strong project management skills Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese or Japanese is preferable Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and improvement A strong financial acumen and understanding of financial statement analysis and different business models and industries modeling skills a plus Strong technical skills in Power Point/Excel/Bloomberg GPA 3.5/ 4.0 or above Commitment to the highest ethical standards We take care of our people We invest in our people, their careers, their health, and their well-being.
