In this role, your goals will be: In three months: You should be familiar with our proprietary tools & standard industry tools and team/account process. You should be able to come up with media recommendations, in consultation with the Business Director / Planning Director and handle day-to-day client queries on the media recommendations. You should understand and be able to handle the internal processes in Group M & Essencemediacom in terms of planning, invoicing, and activations. You should have mastered client reporting and tracking of booked media. You would have confidently presented media recommendations to clients face-to-face. You should have met all the clients that you work with, gained a fair knowledge of your clients' businesses, and understand how they work. You should have built a comfortable rapport with your team members and your clients. In 12 months: You should have gained full knowledge/overview on your clients' businesses, and know what works to achieve the clients' business objectives. You should be able to handle clients' day-to-day activities and be able to propose ideas and challenge the briefs/requests. You should have participated in new business pitches. What your day job looks like at Essencemediacom: Day-to-day client servicing and relationship management. Work with various teams internally to support the client's requests and manage campaign executions. Coordinate with local Essencemediacom offices on campaign planning with APAC markets. Offline campaign planning, including Print and OOH, to support entire campaign recommendation. Digital & social display campaign planning, implementation, and optimisation, along with integration with the wider comms. Deployment of best-in-market targeting & tracking tools. Extract, report & analyse clients' digital campaign performance. Minimum Requirements: Graduate degree relating to business/marketing/communication.1-2 years' experience in media planning/digital media, preferably in a media agency. Excellent spoken and written English & Chinese (both Cantonese & Mandarin). Experience and knowledge on SEM are a plus. Experience with ad serving tools such as Sizmek & Double Click. Rigorous & comfortable with numbers. Sensitive to numbers and great knowledge of Excel & Power Point. Comfortable with meeting clients & great presentation skills. A strong and genuine interest in media and an appreciation of the part it plays in advertising is vital. You are a team player with good interpersonal skills, and you thrive in an energetic and fast-paced environment.
