Urgent Technical Consultant/Lead (HK$55 K - $75 K) (Ref. No.: 26522)Our client, a Public Utilities Company, is looking for a high-caliber person to fill the position. Job Duties Lead the design of architecture, application and infrastructure, code construction, maintenance and support of mobile application, backend services and database components. Assess/estimate the effort required for each development/enhancement item including both mobile frontend and backend services. Define the use of the infrastructure standards, procedures, and best practices within the team. Work with Product Manager to document requirements, architectural technical diagrams, workflow design with the right information and prepare specifications for integrations and documentation. Plan resources to complete development tasks according to business requirements; monitor and report engineers’ delivery on a regular basis. Ensure cyber security compliance and assist with IT security incident monitoring and response. Oversee development process and conduct code reviews to ensure quality and timely delivery of software deliverables. Conduct Po C to evaluate feasibility for new business ideas and provide potential solutions to the team. Lead a small team to provide maintenance and support services to applications. Job Requirements Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, preferably in a leadership or management role, with a focus on Mobile App/Web development and Cloud-native development. Proven track record of implementing large-scale customer-facing mobile application platforms. Strong technical background in Amazon Cloud, Mobile App frameworks and technologies. Strong background in Solution Architecture, Design, Review and Implementation. Familiarity with software development processes, including Agile and Scrum methodologies. Stays up-to-date with industry trends and technologies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent team player with empathy, humility, and attention to detail. Preferred Skills: Ability to mentor and coach team members to improve their skills and abilities. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Solid problem-solving skills and ability to think critically. What you will get: A competitive remuneration package.
