THE ROLESKIP is seeking a passionate and experienced early years teacher to join our small, dynamic team. This is a full-time position commencing mid-August 2025. RESPONSIBILITIESThe class teacher will work collaboratively with the Head of School to plan learning and will lead one kindergarten class of 20 children and act as co-teacher in the second class. REQUIREMENTSEnergetic and enthusiastic early years educator with a passion for outdoor learning. Degree or Postgraduate Diploma/Certificate Education in Early Childhood Education. Have Hong Kong Teacher Registration. Be a Hong Kong resident or possess a valid visa to work in Hong Kong. Have sound working knowledge and experience of the UK EYFS curriculum framework and how this can be used effectively in a play-based and child-led environment. Three years' experience working with preschool aged children, at least one year of which must have been in a classroom setting. Be able to work as part of a small dynamic team, helping each other whenever needed. This includes cleaning up at the end of the day and helping to organise and maintain class resources. Develop strong and positive relationships with our children and SKIP families. We often run community events such as Family Walks, Christmas Fairs or Movie Nights and staff are expected to attend. Be able to extend learning into our wonderful outdoor classroom and into the local area and community through visits, trips and mini expeditions. Be full of creativity, with a love of messy play, sensory learning, mud, sand and glitterBe a native English speaker with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
